Breaking through barriers
Around ten years ago, I was working in a leadership role, trying to live up to what I thought the company expected of me. I felt the pressure to match the stereotype of a successful female leader. It took a discussion with a friend to remind me that the organisation had hired me for who I am. Breaking down that barrier helped me to realise my full potential.
